Newborn Photo Session at Anda Studio
A newborn photo session takes place during the first two weeks of the baby’s life.
I find this type of photo shoot extremely fascinating since it captures the child in a womb like pose; the baby’s body all curled up, the expressions, the delicate, sometimes flaky skin and the womb like movements.
Babies, like adults, are different from one another-each with special qualities and distinctive character.
As a photographer I invest a great deal of time in observing the unique behavior characterizing your child, while fully respecting his/her needs and desires.
During the first two weeks of a baby’s life the baby spends most of his/her time sleeping, when not being fed or having his diaper change.
Throughout the session I will be taking images of your baby both awake and asleep, a task which requires both time and patience.
Throughout the session I watch and wait for the right moment, the right expression, the smile… and this is what I capture.
Your connection to your baby, the spontaneous smiles the diversified expressions and emotions, all add up to little magical moments of happiness.

What should you bring to the newborn photo session?
A newborn photo session is about 3-5 hours long. If you are not breastfeeding be sure to bring a sufficient amount of formula to last for half a day. As for the baby’s clothes, it is recommended you bring clothes without any pattern and with soft colors. You may also bring any other clothes of your choice. You will find a selection of hats and other accessories for you in the studio.
I warmly recommend you join the photo session.
When should you book a newborn session?
Newborns are best photographed within the first 2 weeks of life. This is why I recommend you book a session during the second trimester of your pregnancy in order to save a spot for the month of your due date.
After you give birth you should contact my studio in order to schedule a date for the photo session. I reserve a limited number of newborn sessions every month.
